BOUNDARY CHANGE ADL METRO AND WEST CTC

On 09/04/2024 the boundary between the Adelaide Metro and West CTC Network Control boards will be relocated to Signal 24 at Bolivar (32.601 km).

The management of Bolivar location will change from the West CTC to Adelaide Metro control board.

Network Control will advise the drivers of current running affected services when the boundary change takes place.

Control board extents and operational boundaries following change:

NIBs OGW-30-08 and OGW-30-09 will be reissued with the flowing information.

West CTC - Bolivar (exc) to Spencer Junction (inc)
- Signal 24 Bolivar (32.601 km) to Signal 6 and Signal 6E Crystal Brook (23.560 km) to Signal 36 (3.226 km) and Signal 33 (2.460 km) Coonamia, to Signal 13E (84.919 km) and 14E (85.529 km) Stirling North, to Signal 54 (96.020 km) and Signal 51 and Signal 52 (95.837 km) at Spencer Junction.

Adelaide Metro - Mile End (inc) Bolivar (inc) and Dry Creek to Outer Harbour
- Signal 1 Mile End (4.055 km) to Signal 24 Bolivar (32.601 km) to Port Flat inclusive 56 Signal (East Leg) (6.740 km) and 55 Signal (West Leg) (6.955 km) to Signal 94E Pelican Point (Flinders Ports) (15.010 km) and Signal 94 Pelican Point (QUBE) (15.009 km).

ICE Radio GeoFence Boundary:
The ICE Radio GeoFence boundary between the Adelaide Metro and West CTC control boards will be relocated to the 33.000 km, directing transmissions from rail traffic to the applicable control board.

Documents:
ARTC Network Information Books OGW-30-08 and OGW-30-09 will be updated as part of this change with alterations advertised on a separate Standing Train Notice.

Current copies must be endorsed with the altered contact details until the document is updated.

INTERFACE AGREEMENT IA76 between Keolis Downer Adelaide and Australian Rail Track Corporation Limited for the Adelaide Metropolitan Passenger Rail Network Shared Corridor and the associated document, ARTC/KDA Shared Corridor - Communication Protocols (interim) between Keolis Downer Adelaide and Australian Rail Track Corporation Limited for the Adelaide Metropolitan Passenger Rail Network Shared Corridor will be updated as per update requirements. Current copies must be endorsed with the altered contact details until the documents are updated.

RAIL/RAIL INTERFACE AGREEMENT IA06 between SCT and Australian Rail Track: Corporation Limited for Bolivar SCT Siding will be updated as per update requirements. Current copies must be endorsed with the altered contact details until the document is updated.

ROUTE ACCESS STANDARD (RAS) documents D4 Mile End - Dry Creek - Outer Harbour and D5 Dry Creek to Crystal Brook will be updated as part of this change.
